Translation:

Were you present at the time when Jacob was on the point of death? He asked his children, "Whom will you worship after me?" They all answered, "We will worship the same One Allah Whom you, your forefathers Abraham. Ismail and Isaac acknowledged as their Allah and to Him we all surrender as Muslims."

Translit: Am kuntum shuhadaa ith hadara yaAAqooba almawtu ith qala libaneehi ma taAAbudoona min baAAdee qaloo naAAbudu ilahaka wailaha abaika ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa ilahan wahidan wanahnu lahu muslimoona

Translation:

O Muslims, say to them, O Muslims, say to them, "We believe in Allah and the Guidance which has been sent down to us and which was sent to Abraham, Ismail , Isaac and Jacob and his descendants and which was given by their Lord to Moses and Jesus and to all other Prophets. We do not discriminate against any of them136 and we have completely surrendered to Allah as Muslims."

Translit: Qooloo amanna biAllahi wa ma onzila ilayna wa ma onzila ila ibraheema wa ismaAAeela wa ishaqa wa yaAAqooba waalasbati wa ma ootiya moosa wa AAeesa wa ma ootiya alnnabiyyoona min rabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wa nahnu lahu muslimoona

Translation:

Or do you say that Abraham. Ismail , Isaac, Jacob and his children were all Jews or Christians?" Ask them,"Do you know more than Allah does? And who is more unjust than the one who hides the testimony which Allah has entrusted to him? Allah is not unaware of what you are doing.

Translit: Am taqooloona inna ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa wayaAAqooba waalasbata kanoo hoodan aw nasara qul aantum aAAlamu ami Allahu waman athlamu mimman katama shahadatan AAindahu mina Allahi wama Allahu bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona

Translation:

O Prophet, say, "We believe in Allah and in the teachings which have been sent down to us, and also in those teachings sent down to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob and his descendants, and in the guidance that was given by Allah to Moses, Jesus and other Messengers. We do not discriminate against anyone of them and we submit and surrender to Him."

Translit: Qul amanna biAllahi wama onzila AAalayna wama onzila AAala ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa wayaAAqooba waalasbati wama ootiya moosa waAAeesa waalnnabiyyoona min rabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnu lahu muslimoona

Translation:

O Muhammad, We have sent Revelation to you just as We sent it to Noah and other Prophets after him. We also sent Revelation to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob, and the descendants of Jacob, and Jesus and Job and Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and We gave the Psalms to David.

Translit: Inna awhayna ilayka kama awhayna ila noohin waalnnabiyyeena min baAAdihi waawhayna ila ibraheema waismaAAeela waishaqa wayaAAqooba waalasbati waAAeesa waayyooba wayoonusa waharoona wasulaymana waatayna dawooda zabooran

Translation:

Then We bestowed upon Abraham descendants like Isaac and Jacob, and showed each of them the Right Way, (the same Right Way that) We had shown to Noah before them; and (We bestowed Guidance upon ) David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron from among his descendants. Thus, We reward the righteous people for their good deeds.

Translit: wa wahabna lahu ishaqa wa yaAAqooba kullan hadayna wa noohan hadayna min qablu wamin thurriyyatihi dawooda wa sulaymana wa ayyooba wa yoosufa wa moosa wa haroona wa kathalika najzee almuhsineena

And his wife was standing by; hearing this, she laughed. Then We gave her the good news of Isaac, and after Isaac of Jacob.

Translation:

And it will happen so (as you have seen in your dream) that your Lord will choose you (for His work ) and impart you the full understanding of problems, and will perfect His blessing upon you and upon the children of Jacob as He perfected it on your forefathers- Abraham and Isaac; surely your Lord is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Translit: Wakathalika yajtabeeka rabbuka wayuAAallimuka min taweeli alahadeethi wayutimmu niAAmatahu AAalayka waAAala ali yaAAqooba kama atammaha AAala abawayka min qablu ibraheema waishaqa inna rabbaka AAaleemun hakeemun

Translation:

I follow the Way of my forefathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: it is not for us to associate anyone with Allah as partner. This is Allahs bounty upon us and upon all mankind (that He has not made us the servants of any other than Himself), yet most people are not grateful.

Translit: WaittabaAAtu millata abaee ibraheema waishaqa wayaAAqooba ma kana lana an nushrika biAllahi min shayin thalika min fadli Allahi AAalayna waAAala alnnasi walakinna akthara alnnasi la yashkuroona

"All praise be to Allah Who has given me sons like Ismail and Isaac in my old age. Indeed, my Lord hears all prayers.

Translation:

Accordingly, when he left those people and their deities besides Allah, We granted to him descendants like Isaac and Jacob, and We made each of them a Prophet

Translit: Falamma iAAtazalahum wama yaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi wahabna lahu ishaqa wayaAAqooba wakullan jaAAalna nabiyyan

Translation:

Then We bestowed on him Isaac and added Jacob to him, and We made each of them righteous.

Translation:

And We bestowed on him (children like) Isaac and Jacob, and placed in his progeny the Prophethood and the Book, and give him his reward in, this world, and in the Hereafter he will surely be among the righteous.

Translit: Wawahabna lahu ishaqa wayaAAqooba wajaAAalna fee thurriyyatihi alnnubuwwata waalkitaba waataynahu ajrahu fee alddunya wainnahu fee alakhirati lamina alssaliheena

And we blessed him as well as Isaac. Now among their offspring someone is righteous and someone clearly a sinner against his own self.
